Facilities

Basic & Advanced Training Kitchen

  • Designed for the students to be practised and trained to cook from basic to advanced. Here the students are taught to prepare food in portion as well as in bulk quantities.
  • Basic level of the cuisine is commonly Indian & French. Yet it does concentrate on other global cuisines as well.
  • Also, the advanced level of cookery is taught and practised like Mexican, Chinese, Thai, and Continental are prepared and skills like Ice carving, Vegetable carving etc., are taught to the students.

Front Office

  • Our institute has a model lobby area which includes bell desk, guest lounge, and reception area.
  • In this Department, the students are trained to handle the front office operations, Guest interactions & Etiquettes etc.,

Accommodation Operations

  • Our institute has a model guest double room with the standard of five star.
  • Here we teach the laundry, various levels of maintaining cleanliness and hygiene procedure, flower arrangements and decorations.

Food & Beverage Service

There is a fully furnished and air-conditioned restaurant functioning with international standard food service. Here the students are taught from the basic fundamentals to advanced level of restaurant operations.

Bakery & Confectionery

The students in this kitchen are trained to make different varieties of dough, bread, cakes and wedding cake decorations, sugar work, chocolates and a host of cold dessert preparations in their practical.

Hostel Facility

  • Accommodation facilities have been provided for both boys & girls.
  • Inmates are provided with the best possible amenities to make their stay comfortable and convenient to pursue their studies. The hostel is located inside the Institute. The Institute has a Cafeteria and it provides Indian food for the inmates.

Library

  • The Institute has a well-stocked library which contains additional materials not only pertaining to the subject but also on different disciplines. The books are frequently updated and several magazines and journals are provided to offer the students an insight into the latest trends in the industry. The students are encouraged to utilize the facility to the maximum.

Canteen

  • A modern canteen that can cater to 350 students at a time is available on campus.Knowing the importance of a cafeteria, a modern cafeteria has been raised which provides our students as well as our staff members, including visitors a delicious, hygienic food at affordable cost. The cafeteria easily accommodates the ever growing student population and it is the perfect spot for a sustaining snack in the middle of hectic schedule in the pursuit of knowledge.

Transport

  • The college has its own bus facility travelling from various locations in and around Mailam. We are operating 48 buses covering more than 60 major destinations such as Villupuram,kalamarudhur, Panruti, Sithalingamadam, Panruti, neyveli,Anathapuram, Thirukoilur, Acharapakkam, Puducherry, Koliyanur,Villiyanur, Cuddalore, Tindivanam, Gingee, Marakanam,Vandavasi, Thellar, Kadapakkam, etc.
